MR Hurricanes 4-0 Bishop Auckland

Last 16 of the League Cup and the lads were awesome today. Playing with no subs they worked their butts off for each other and played some quality football.

The lads went in at the break 1-0 to the good but in truth should have been more as they created many chances.

Second half they were met with some good pressure from Bishop and themselves had chances to get back into the game but the defence stood strong. 💪🏻

Middleton got their groove going and the front 3 worked hard to add more goals to the tally.

A great team effort today lads really proud of how well your growing both as a team and individuals 👏🏻

The match started evenly with little to separate them. As the first half progressed Middleton started to dominate and the persistent pressure paid off.
Middleton rung the changes at half time but it didn’t affect the momentum with the goal of the game giving Middleton some breathing space.

However, the boys do like giving the coaches health scares and they proceeded to switch off entirely in six minutes of madness in which all the earlier hard work was wiped away from a good Aycliffe three minute spell.

Fortunately, Middleton regained focus and reclaimed control of the game with some wonderful passing football at times.

The boys showed the best and worst of themselves today but everyone was delighted with the win and there were a lot of positives. 👏🏻

Match Report: U11 Hurricanes Deliver a Strong Performance

A fantastic display from Middleton Rangers against Wynyard this weekend.

Middleton controlled large spells of the game, showing great composure on the ball and setting the tempo from the start. After facing an early setback, the team responded with real character and resilience.

The second half saw Middleton raise the intensity, keeping the pressure on and playing some excellent football. Every player worked tirelessly for each other, demonstrating brilliant teamwork and determination throughout.

A performance to be proud of all round! 👏

Opposition coach MOTM🏆

Freddie C - A brilliant performance from the winger, who never gave up on the ball and worked tirelessly down the flank. Some great passing and sharp runs helped beat the defender and create real momentum in attack. One powerful run into the box saw them get the better of their opponent and win a penalty for the team.

A good battle between the 2 teams today. Spitfires started off slowly but soon found their feet and grew into the game.

A really competitive game that could have gone either way and I’m sure both teams learned a lot!

Hebburn Blues Madrid 3-4 MR Hawks

Somewhat of a difficult game today on a pretty poor pitch which did impact our playing style, despite this the lads managed to pull ahead with a healthy 0-3 lead with goals from Deacan Jasper and Ethan.

Hebburn brought sustained pressure with direct balls midway into the 2nd half and made it physical and did manage to pull level. But with 5 mins to go Deacan W was found by a Simeon T cross into the box to finish creatively to give the lads the win.

Well done lads, you showed resolve and fight today 👏🏻
